Well I've just tried to cheer myself up by finding out when the Summer is going to start and as far as I can see its not. Well not in the next two weeks anyway.
Anyone have a crystal ball that can tell me when the good weather is arriving ?
For me it's on Monday .....im off to Greece for 2 week's 34 Degrees C!!!!!, Trying to find someone who does RIB charter in HALKADIKI at the mow.....

For the first time in ages i had the oppertunity of getting out on a rib (working away quite a bit) yesterday, we were in the Chichester area. it was at one stage blowing to F8 so we did not venture too far out, but it was a great day.....it also rained
So i suppose it depends if you have the facilities of a large harbour
...... i must get another rib when i get back from Turkey

Still no sign of summer yet i see in the forcasts? well i think i'm gona have done with it and say b-----ks to the weather and just start wearing my wetsuit out on the rib and have fun in the rain on the bright side of things it can't get any worse, can it?

I've just been looking at the weather forecast for the next week or so and if the forecast is anywhere near correct it looks like most of this country will be under water by the end of next week.
At this rate I'll be able to leave the car at home and use the boat to get around.
yer, thats the answer lets all hope the rain continues for the next few weeks so that half the country is under water and then we can launch from our own doorsteps, who needs sunshine and slipways
Bring on the rain better look out for those submerged objects though i.e peoples houses and cars.

For the non UK residents reading this thread and wondering what we are all moaning about. I took a couple of pics out the back of my house. Remember this is on the 2nd of July 2007 and we've had virtually consistant heavy rain day in day out for well over a month now.
Pic 1 shows the rain coming and Pic 2 is it hammering off the window panes.
Looking at the photos I've just realised how green the grass is. Usually at this time of the year the grass is brown and the soil is cracking.
lets all hope the rain continues for the next few weeks so that half the country is under water and then we can launch from our own doorsteps, who needs sunshine and slipways
