No, no and no. But, the original seats that were removed still have the thru deck fittings, ie the there is no bare ply exposed even though there is a hole if that makes sense. I checked the ply very close for signs of de-lamination/rot (as I did around the anchor locker as this has come up on this forum as a potential RC area of weakness). None present but obviously I will seal them up asap.

The new seats are basically a locker glassed onto the deck with some revolting speedboat 'banquette' type miami vice carbuncle glued to the top. Locker looks good, seat is going on the bonfire.
