Water over transom solution?

Does anyone have an idea where I can source a deflector to stop water coming over the transom.
I've got a 6m XS with 115hp, unfortunately this leads to a very low cut out on the transom and when carrying dive kit it sits even lower. This can make it very prone to shipping water if there is a back swell. An idea would be to have some form of soft belows that would fit round the engine space. Some water would still get by, but it would make it a lot more manageable.
Does anyone out there know of a supplier or failing that have a suggestion for a home made fix? It would save me a lot of time if somebody has already come up with a fix.
Cheers
Ian

I think Biffer has a mould for one, not sure it will fit yours but it will give you an idea of how the pro's do it.

The is a thread on here somewhere....

Wish I'd known about this many moons ago when I had a N/C 5.8 .. ended up raising the engine 2 inches and building the transom up.... the boats performance was never the same thereafter ....... it chine walked to buggery and I got rid of it

I was just trying to think when I made the first mould, this problem has been around for as long as ribs have, I wrongly assumed that everybody knew about this fix, it must have been over 22 years when I did the first mould as I been with my girlfriend that long and I had the boat before I met her, I can't believe this thing still happens

Thanks for the info guys, I don't think a solid mould would work in this case due to how low the cut out is and the size of the engine, there's just not the space. Think I'll have to try to make some for of soft deflector that can move back and fore with the engine.
Cheers

Biffer, do you have any idea if your moulds would fit a Ribtec 585 with twin outboards?
