Washing pole on SR5.4

Just came across this. Talk about an accident waiting to happen, especially in a rolling sea. Samson post... looks like a washing pole to me!

Appaently according to most ebay numpties, if it's orange it must be ex RNLI as nobody else ever had an orange boat

They did have a couple of non descript Avons for odd uses such as general purpose diver/safety cover for when doing crew/capsize tests in Poole harbour on the Atlantic 21,s before the indoor pool was built can't remember them having consoles either think 1 did have a Samson post but not like that.

Best fleabay ad I saw last year was a blue grey Campari inflatable ex Rnli ,,, Errrr I dont think so lol

Doubt it if its just been released ,looks too old and if it has been usually theres a disclaimer that says that it cannot be be advertised as exrnli

I messaged for more details of the boat and was told that it WAS ex RNLI - Newport's surf rescue boat and if I didn't believe it then I should ring up the RNLI archives.
