if its going vertical and your worried about banging your knees on it why not add some padding, such as the foam bits they stick on surf and windsurf boards for your feet

Hi Andy my knees arnt really the issue all i want is a hatch with a smooth
door to match my white console not to much to ask or is it, and a lock
