How woode

I have lots of good things to say about a few ribs not just those of JBT.

I love the Redbay's but are well out of my price range
Great people to work with.

I have had some great safe times in Humbers too.

Talking of them, give a set of their tubes and a hull to the Welsh Wizard John Price and his team and IMHO you get and awsome craft.
If you want a large commercial boat you could do a lot worse.

I can't comment on boats I have not been out on and sent time on.

Having not spent any time on the kit for Barnet I can only comment on the compay.
Again great people to do business with, I always know where I stand with them.
They were a great help last weekend.
I rate them very highly.

Then JBT, I have been lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time on the Balistics and I do rate them.
The team are really nice people, they are always willing to help me out if I need it.
One of my oldest contact and friends in the marine industry works for them.
He is like a member of my family, a fav uncle.
So yes I do have a lot of time for them.

But I will do what ever I can for any of my dealers

Anyway enough of this!!!
I am a radio man what the hell do I know about boats

Anyway the 5.5m was a Riblistic quintechbay 5.5m parX

I see your an ICOM guy. My company uses ICOMS exclusively. Currently using 7 ICOM radio units coupled with shakespere antennas. The radios simply smoke the competition. Since our communication is of the emergency type we need to have the best. Recently i was disappointed when ICOM removed an inexpensive unit from their line however they quickly replaced that unit with a much better unit, which i didnt think was possible

GO ICOM !!!!

you really do need a good antenna though.......

Shakespere 5225 XT for boats and a 5309 for base mounted VHF
