Yes, nice site. They deal in Stinger ribs (Italian stuff).
I prefer BAT, or Mar-Co, or (possibly) SACS* if I had to choose an Italian rib.

Lot of dosh needed here.

Well worth the trip for lots of reasons, lots of big ribs in residence, amazing scenery and a great welcome. Get them to give you a run in Tom's Corryvreckan

Great Choice SJHooper!

Saw a couple of Redbay 650's at Southampton last week.......really impressed!

Friend of mine was with me at the show....the org he works for are currently bidding for a really large public sector contract (can't name as a result) as part of which they would be purchasing (if successful) a significant number of RIBs. They have gone for the 650's in their bid package (running twin 90's IIRC).

The finish on the boats I saw was great.....really solid and functional looking comercial RIB! Would love one......

However, when I coded my RIB I had to make a Hypalon transom Skirt to achieve the required 250mm freeboard at transom (which i now exceed).......With the 90 HP Yam we achieve around 250mm unladen, but dropped down to around 200mm freeboard (with the standard stepped transom and Long - 20 inch shaft OB) during the stability testing with 8 persons up!

Whilst we didn't measure it, the 650 with twin 90's at the show didn't look to achieve /was close to the 250mm required with no-one aboard.....

Personally I don't see this as a problem in use, but was wondering how /if boats like the Redbay get around the coding without the required 250mm....is it just a case of the surveyors discretion /interpretation of the regs?

Either way, lovely looking RIB, very envious!

Dan

The choice of Elkie Brooks for the backing track on that second clip was truly inspired...

Well we know that they have zero taste in music.

But thankfully their ribs speak for themselves and sing a very sweet tune....

No teak deck
I went for the std spec but reduced the 4 front jockeys seats to 2 with a rear bench seat comes with VHF and Chartplotter, 210 fuel litre tank black fabric impreesion tubes, grey hull. Asked for non tinted screen with the S Steel hand rail lowered by 100mm so that its not in my line of vision. Suzuki 175 engine
