Wakeboarding weather

Hoping to get some late-summer wakeboarding in this week (thinking Tuesday). Scarborough forecast choppy - toying with Knott End. Think flattish seas are forecast. What's it like for boarding? Dave M's the man - are you reading this Dave? Response much appreciated. Who do I call before setting off (it's 100 miles one way), just to check?

Dave Manning on a wakeboard?! You're having a laugh, aren't you? He's only just learnt to walk upright.
