isnt there someone on the channel islands that makes VSVs??? ANyone have any info (other than mary slim) about them or other VSVs??

We moved over to these for coaching from Tornado Ribs. Tornado ribs are great but in a big sea the VSR is a much smoother ride (size for size). I have had one of the ribs out in pretty big stuff from outside Sydney Heads and off Canaries etc etc. They hold up pretty well and are cheap, plus being lightish you can get away with smaller engine. As a rule of thumb you could go 20/30 less HP for the same length rib.

Most nations now use these as they are good at sea keeping but they are economical as well!

I am sure you can get one over to the Channel Islands..
