For petrol motors try Diacom software or handheld tool at Rinda.com.

Don't know about diesels if that is what you need. Maybe they can give you a lead.

I am looking for software for a volvo D6-370 initialy and if it covers other engines that would be helpfull

Think it's something called vodia. Don't know if it's available outside the dealer network tho?

It's not available outside of the dealer network as far as I know

It's a shame the manufacturers aren't forced to have standardised OBD ports like on cars.

Being able to read fault codes on our cars saves a whole lot of diagnosis time.

On the KAD series, the system will show a fault code by flashing a pattern on a led at the helm station. The user handbook identifies the fault from a table. I realise things move on and change but it may be worth checking out if you haven't already done so.

Have found a company in the states that sell vodia for Volvo penta marine engines both petrol and diesel versions
I am waiting for prices etc
If anybody has any more info please let me know
