high tower you can have a forward facing box or seat added if req,
i had a box moulded into front of mine, which in all honesty is needed to fit secondary battery or oil tank to, bit tight in there for 2 x batts and oil tank.
as pic shows plenty of room for all req items and then some,

Thanks for all the info Guys.

I want to maximize my space from mid ships to stern and will go for two, one and a half jockeys (if you know what I mean) and the widest bench seat I can get at the rear.

I too like fishing and but don't want to mount the consol too far forward as that would possibly result in an uncomfortable ride (too bumpy).

In the bow area I like the raised anchor locker and might mount a small SS railing around the top of the bow tube to protect the tubes whilst at anchor and also like the storage box either built into or infront of the consol.

The reason for the dimention across the tubes is to determine what sort of console I could either have built or to buy so that I could walk around without too much tube hopping. It's also important to have enough area in the console to mount all the electricals and center mount throttle.

Hi Andy. We had the 5.8 and had an outhill console fitted, which left room on either side for access to the front. That had a large storage box which doubled up as a front seat.

hi andy, some measurements for similar 6.2 vipermax

front of console positioned 1.30 from rear of anchor locker,
distance between tubes at front of console is 1.25,
distance between tubes at rear of console is 1.34,
console footprint 1.08 x .62 approx,
the 1.44 measurement already mentioned is between tubes at rear.
hope this helps.

Thanks Gerry that's gonna be a great help.

With you're consol being 1.08cm wide does that give you problems to walk around to the bow?
