Tim Zippy and Jimbo

Thanks to you all

Hannah

Yes we do use the real thing, we have a full range of live DSC sets backed up with real EPIRBs, SARTS and Live Navtex (which also feature in the course). We were one of the early pioneers in using live DSC kit. While it is a theory course we spend as much time as possible on practical sessions using the kit. Having now taught over 1400 students this course I can claim a near perfect pass rate, the only two fails went to a girl that did not speak English and a guy who turned up drunk and fell asleep before I had even started.

Courses are run at least once a month, more on demand. They take place at our Shamrock Quay classroom with fresh coffee, tea etc on tap.

More than happy to cater for under 16s but the RYA will not issue the authority to operate until you turn 16. If there are a couple of you I am more than happy to knock a few quid off.

Best Regards

Give me a call if you want 07803 582286.

Just did the course with Doug today - excellent!! Very professional, content relevant and pitched just at the right level for the different backgrounds of those attending. Highly recommended for those who are reluctant to take the plunge - refreshingly enjoyable, non-threatening and the best bit, GREAT value for money at £60.

Thanks Doug,

Alistair

SRC Course

Alastair

Glad you enjoyed the course, hope to see you out on the water some time, or drop in if you are in sunny Southampton.

All the best
DOUG
