VHF Course - Painless and Extremely Interesting

Following Bajan's intro on this forum (thanks Bajan):

"I've found another who can do it during the week, but more pricey (£85.00 + exam fee). London Auxiliary Old Hands Club-Godfrey Browne. He said he could do it next Friday if I wanted, but I'm working. If you are interested, his number is 020 7607 3916/07973 715 147."

I phoned Godfree a couple of weeks back and fixed up to go on his next course. When I got to house in Islington I was the only person on the course. No question of his cancelling! I recieived an excellent full day of tuition, anecdotes, and loads of practice based on real life experiences.

Primary focus was actually idenfifying what type of situation I was facing, and the appropriate response. Extremely valuable.

Would recomend him to anyone doing the course.

Cheers,

Yeah

Actually ended up (cos we spare time) doing some quite advanced scenario games. Very interesting, and easy to miss the MOST urgent items when under pressure and to let your radio discipline go to pot!

Cheers

Z L?

I bet you need a tug, it's blowing F9 gusting F10 on Chi Bar.
Or are you shooting nets? (Pointless, they are full of holes already)
As for Stopping Instantly, I have no intention of going out in this

OK I shall stop hoisting posts.

Nothing unusual there then.

Sorry, I don't have my list of multi flag messages to hand.

I retire.
