There is one in my local harbour -Burry Port - and if it will survive the swell there it will survive anywhere - most impressive.

It had a big American style wakeboarding boat on it - prob about 25' - now there is a small RIB - about 5.5m that looks quite lost.

Saw it in Amsterdam last year, made me chuckle!

currently berth 2 RS Vision sailing dinghies and a Rigiflex on it (15HP), as time goes on we will store RIBs on it as well.

I have a jetski on one they are very popular and easy to get on and off. There are a few boats on them at my local marina but look a bit of a mission to get on and off, they use winches...

I think the winch is just to pull you off the first bit until the prop has some bite. No reason why you cant drive on

Mate keeps a 20 ft BWM with 150 etec on one , and a local 8m cobra with a 200 Suz lives on one up the river.

There is one in Salcombe on a swing mooring with a wooden sailing dinghy on it & they use a winch to get it on & off!

Is Nautibouy (used to post on here a lot - but much quieter these days) still the UK distributor?

I like the milk crates... thats a Funyak Sparfel/390 moored alongside it the same as mine (without centre console)... practical rather than necessarily aesthetically pleasing - a bit like the milk crates.

Perhaps worth having a look at www.aqua-dock.co.uk before parting with any cash. They're made in the UK, slightly different design, available from stock and at a significantly lower cost.......
