I belive the 225 and 275 Verado is the same Weight/size ?

what I really meant was that the 275 is just too powerfull for a 7.5 mtr rib and that the 225 would be just right

I think its better to run a 275 at 75% throttle, rather than a 225 at 100%throttle. Usually when we do charter, the fleet cruises at 37-40 knots.( Always the guys with the big engines that sets the pace, so my 200 optimax run at full throttle to keep up when seating 10 passengers. I want my next boat to cruise at this speed without going full throttle.

Ill go for Valiant/merc because i get a dealer discount, also like the look of the PT750. If I dont get a black one, I,ll consider a Tornado or an Osprey. Dont like the look of the Parker RS. The Baltic looks much better.

yes, for the type of work you wish to do the Baltic is for sure far more superior than the RS. However the RS is a very fast hull. Why not talk to Peder
