Have a look at the Whiteshark and also the Jeanneau Cap Camarat ranges as well.

Test on it here for you.

Uttern boats have been on the market for very long time and are of good quality, have driven many of them although not this specific one, sure she is no exception to other Uttern boats.

You should also look at Askeladden 635 walkaround, www.askeladden.no Norwegian made boat, partly owned by Brunswick (Marine Power).

Hi Bogi, thanks for the feedback, had a look at one today looked good build! The only point against was I thought the lay up a bit thin, but then I'm use to my Osprey!

You could probably call their dealer tomorrow for info

ESSEX BOATYARDS Ltd
Essex Marina
Wallasea Island
SS42HF - ROCHFORD ESSEX

phone 0441702258885

Unfortunately Scandianvian largest boatshow just ended in Stockholm where you could have seen the whole Scandinavian range.

Hi Bogib

That Askeladden 635 WalkAround looks interesting with a good sized cabin and good seating, not too wide to tow either, and with a possible top speed of 55 knots what more could you want. Do you know if they have a UK importer?

Thanks Freddie

No UK dealer according to their web sit!
http://www.askeladden.no/frameset.php

Bogi I was at ESSEX BOATYARDS Ltd to day, got the impression they are not doing very much with them, or it may be just the time of year!

Nick, reason may be that Scandinavian made boats are not the cheapest in UK market place.

Uttern S64, I have one with the merc1.7d, great boat fantastic economy and it also has a big 200l tank so filing up is almost rare ! I have just over 130 hours on it I bought it new from Essex boat yards, it had a few problems with water ingress to the cabin but I fixed it and Essex covered the cost of my time ect, good company to deal with. I use it to cruise around the west coast of Scotland ie. Jura, corryveckan,Colonsay, Ghia, Isla ect it has never let me down and it has come back in some serious sea conditions as my pals have 8.5 mtr Redbay ribs i tend to go out with them so anything goes ! I also have the lift up cover on mine which turns the rear of the boat in to a deck cabin when the weather is a bit wet, its only failing is the V of the hull could be deeper as it can give a hard ride in the rougher water, the cabin below has been great for the kids to sit in and watch their dvd when boredom sets in definetly a boat I would recommend to anyone.

Do you use yours for water sports, what is the performance like?
I'm looking at a 4.3L Mercruiser 220hp fuel
Nick

PS that happens to the cover then you want it down, dose it get in the way? Do you have any photos?
