Used RIB vs used SIB buying tips

Hello all members of the forum! I have purchased a PVC Zodiac Futura S since 2001 two years ago. The main concern for the acquisition was to pay attention to the glued joints, especially the floor of the boat with the tubes and the transom with the tubes. Of course I paid attention what PVC looks like (UV effect, etc.). I knew the tube joints were made by hot welding and they did not have any problems.
I would like to ask you whether the same attention points are applicable to a PVC Rib? How do the rigid floor join with the pneumatic tubes? Are there some with the slot that the tubes slide on? What would be better? If the sale announcement says the tubes have changed a few years ago, is there a reason for trust and the boat has a longer life?
Do the same principles apply to Hypalon Rib ?
Thank you in advance !
