glad I went on here - got 2 of these - will be sending them back tomorrow!!

looking at the picture of the current model on the website the fastening buckle at the front is different to mine - looks more like the older ones - mine is a plastic buckle with a red button release

actually - some of the lifejacket pictures on the site still seem to use the plastic buckle...

I have three 175 newton automatic life-jackets I/07 and II/06 (which are from batches that have been recalled). Strange - Seago have my product registration cards, including email and postal addresses. Nothing through from them?

Batches from 4th quarter of 2005 to 1st quarter of 2007 are all effected. No indication of why.

Seems a trip to the post office is in order tomorrow - better safe than sorry!

Spoke to Seago today and my understanding now is that certain failures have been found innthese batches that may fail to remain inflated. Well done to Seago for sorting mine so quickly with help from local chandlery Shamrock at Southampton. Thank you

I don't know why people are complaining - unfortunately none of mine are of the right date - I would love 12 new lifejackets!!!

I bet this will cost them a fortune.
