Unexpected Guest
Evening all,
We were out with the Carson 600 today just of North Kessock taking some shots in the beautiful winter sun when we had an unexpected visitor. A pheasant had flown all the way out and then managed a perfect landing on the collar of the RIB! He wasnt keen on taking flight again so I headed back to the slip where he stepped off onto dry land and continued on his way.
I have also attached a couple of pics from today of the 6m in action.

Fair dos for delivering him safely ashore. Pheasants are not really designed for offshore work and he owes you his life.
The Carson is an interesting boat - I look forward to seeing more of it. What engine is that?

Evening Willk,
Its our shop Mercury 200hp Saltwater that we had de-tuned to 150hp on the dyno for using on the 6m. Just awaiting the new graphics for the housing to match the new engine rating.
Hopefully have a video edited in the coming days.

They're not known for their ability to complete complex quadratic equations.
I always feel a certain pang of sympathy for animals and birds that rock up on boats when their world has turned to sh1t. Swallows, pigeons, penguins, hawks and butterflies. I feel that we're all in the same boat - just hanging in there....

I find Peasant can be a bit dry if over cooked😏, penguin is better cooked a la confit, puffin is my favourite👍

btw, how do you "de-tune"? use less throttle?
