Good idea any mileage in having a piece of solid tube at the end to get as close to the bottom as possible, the pipe will still have memory from the roll so will be a mare to get into position

that pump bulb pictured with the flexi hose connected to a couple of foot of ridged metal or copper fuel pipe from an auto factors should push down in amongst the control cables then when your done leave it in position to use next time its required

how did you get on with this please ?? believe it or not i am about to try and resolve this predicament myself on my new (to me) 5.3 , have recently bought an oil removal pump from lidl ,so could prove handy .

Under deck trunking

I had an issue with my Ribcraft, I just used 10mm PU pipe and a aqua vac, pulls it out in a few seconds.
