Pablo, i've used a SR4 in precisely that circumstance, and actually its not a problem. A lot of safety boat work isn't on the plane anyway. With the hull flooded its much more pleasant when sitting bobbing around. Seem quite popular at sailing clubs.

OK. I figured it would just be heavy and consume loads with the hull flooded.
