Tying down fuel tanks

I have two 25l fuel tanks which I am looking at tying down. What is the best way of getting a fixing? Would a screw in eye bolt either side of tank be enough?

You can buy a rubber mat which you fix down, which comes with a strap which holds the tank onto the mat.
I use one of these, and it works quite well. I bought mine on ebay (can't see any on there at the mo I'm afriad).
Chances are your local chandlers will have one.

Have a look here Fuel tank holding kit. Should be able to get one from your local merc/mariner dealer too.
