You can if it's got HPDI (High Probability of Destructive Incident) written on the side also the guys I know who work with engines for a living say that Yamaha warranties suck because Yamaha's stance is that their engineering could not be at fault.

Anybody here actually running a single 300 on a 8m rib and if so can you use all the power or does it become iffy to control towards the top end og the power band

you payes your money, they are all great when goin well but crap when not. my last engine was a caterpilar c9 accept 650hp inboard, now thats a engine neal
