Tubes for Zodiac Pro 530

I would appreciate advice re the best place to buy replacement tubes for my Zodiac Pro 530 - either from the USA or Europe. I am based in Australia and would like to buy these direct from Zodiac to avoid the high mark ups of the local dealer.

Does anyone have a second hand or new set they would like to sell?

Part number is Z6859 FLOTTEURS PRO 530 RED

Thanks

It might be cheaper to get one of the lads on here to make you a set and get them shipped out rather than buy direct from Zodiac.
I'm sure one of them will be along shortly?

RIBase
Seems this is a special order part only with tubes coming direct from France (allow 6-8 weeks). A US dealer is quoting $4,900 (USD) plus shipping (pack weighs 120lbs). How does that compare with local dealer?

Email these guys for a quote, they are official Zodiac dealers and gave me a great price on new tubes but it may be the shipping costs that are the killer.

Tubes Zodiac Pro 530

Many thanks guys for your responses - this site is great I must say and its very helpful to get these details.

I am waiting for the local dealer to give me a price - the service at this time of the year in Australia is hopeless as everyone is on hols pretty much until the end of Jan! My guess is the price will be around A$6500 ie u$5700 - in which case very little saving compared with the Shipstore price when you add shipping. Generally in Australia most stuff is more expensive as the market is protected by the tyranny of distance (Golf clubs are 2* the price cf the USA!). Anyway will post when I get the official price.

By the way - would like to see a photo of a mans RIB - or did it go to Eve! (Actually I my view of mans RIB is an Avon Searider - they really cut through the cr..p when out in the Ocean)

I agree on the SR been an ace boat but there is nothing wrong with a Zodiac. I have one that you would probably laugh at. But, it's great fun, comfy, goes well..... but it dont have a bar or babes (the wife joins me occasionally but she dont count). Hope you manage to get your tubes sorted (at the right price) soon mate.

I used to have a baby Searider ~4m - was amazing I must say out in the big swell. The Zodiac I find is more of a river boat - great in the flat water but slams in the waves rather than slicing through them like the SR. My Pro 530 with the twin 60's does get up to ~ 50 knots though!

Zodiac Pro 530 Tubes

Would be pleased to manufacture a replacement set of tubes to suit the Zodiac Pro 530 and they would be manufactured in Hypalon coated fabric. Have sent you a PM with quote and shipping costs to Australia

tube

I have a friend working for a tube maker in Italy, and I just had my pontoon rebuilt with 1670decitex Orca hypalon - one word is great !
At a very affordable price, that's not bad ...

If you were interested, feel free to send me an Email, I will answer with the price and conditions - one being that you must know someone in Australia able to glue the tube to the hull.
The tube should be "bare", ie without any handles, rubbing strake ... so it is very light for shipping, easily folded to stay into a slim parcel

Many thanks for contacting me - I would prefer to have all the extras supplied and glued up front - just pull the new tubes on and put the boat in the water is what I am aiming. Thanks anyway for the post - much appreciated

I believe you get the bare tubes and a fitting kit.
Once the tubes are on the boat then you glue the handles, strakes, lifelines on etc so it looks right.

Are the toobs glued to this Zodiac, or do they slide into a slot in the GRP?
