Tube repair - what heat gun?

I'm thinking about trying to repair a leaking patch on a PVC tube, what sort of heat gun should I use to be able melt the glue a bit to pull back the old patch?

The adjustable temperature on LCD display is a brilliant feature for many applications. A bit pricey but good quality.
