Tube repair

I'm hoping i can get a little bit of help.
I have a 5.0m Tornado i think from the early 90's the boat had never been used and just sat in a garage until late 2007 when i purchased it as my first rib.
I used the boat about 5 times in 2007 and about 15 times in 2008, towards the end of 2008 the tubes started leaking at the seams but whenever i glued them they started to go further round the seam. They have now got to the point where the boat is unuseable.
I have asked a couple of people who said that i need new tubes.
The tubes are in perfect condition apart from the leaks at the seams, is this something that could be repaired or is it now a case of new tubes.
I would appreciate any help in answering this.
Thanks

L J

Your tubes are PVC not hypalon. You'll need the right glue to seal the tubes.
Have a look on polymarine as they loads of bits for ribs and inflatables.

Tornado’s are prone to this; we have lots in with seam problems. They can be repaired using the correct pvc two part adhesive but this is only delaying the inevitable tube replacement.

This is the best glue for the job. http://rib-shop.com/product.asp?numR...hFor=&PT_ID=10

You will find using MEK http://rib-shop.com/prodtype.asp?PT_...ageHistory=cat as a primer will give you a better bond.
