Slightly cheaper here

The more I read around it seems this 303 stuff seems to be getting rave reviews in all walks of life and all different applications.

There's no way I'm putting floor polish on my 20k+ RIB

I don't care how good any of you say it is - I'm not putting something deigned for use on wooden floors on my tubes for the sake of saving enough money for a couple of pints.

I have been using 303 for the last six years and found it to be excellent. There are a fleet of about 35 commercial ribs 28ft and longer in my area and everyone uses 303. I have never heard of using floor wax until Ribnet.

We know. You keep on telling us!

Perhaps if I decanted some into small bottles and put a picture of a RIB on the front and multiplied the price by a factor of ten you'd be interested?

I'm a bit surprised at how vehemently you object to the idea of using a tried and tested solution, that works very well and happens to be cost effective, purely because you don't like the idea of using something that isn't labelled as marine specific.

Chose what you like, but don't knock the other solutions until you've tried them. It's not just about saving the price of a pint, it's about finding something that does a good job too.

John

PS BTW it's not sold as polish for wooden floors, it's for terrazzo or quarry tiles.

Phew! That's a relief - thanks John

The UK distributor for 303 cleaners is a member on here. He was doing free samples about a year ago of which I got two of. I tried the "majic" cleaner with very little effect, and I got bored with spending hours rubbing the protector stuff into my tooobs...
