Tube Polish

Hi Guys and Gals
Can anyone recommend a good tube POLISH

I'm fed up with these matt finishes, all help appreciated.

Any tube polish that makes your tubes nice and shiny is also going to make them slippery. When I use 303 protectant (which does not shine the tubes very much) I can tell the difference in the slickness of the tubes.

If you REALY Like the ''Zing Factor'' Ribcraft do thier Own...a bit Bright for my Taste but if its Bright and Shiney your after...you May need

Trust me works wonders many colours, I applied it liberally left two days washed of excess with good scrubbing and here after used rib shop reviver

Uploaded in wrong order but

First pic with polish stainer on

Washed of ad stained in, not slippy at all

How it did look on purchase

And a nice shiny finish before I wiped excess reviver off

My prefered choice is Polymarine Blow-up boat finish. Beware of 301 if walking on tubes with wet bare feet. 'Tiz more slippery than a greased weasel.

not that bad these days, much improved over the years, but it will always be a silty river, and the Liverpool water front has been ruined with the recent "improvements" :-(
we like the much fresher Nth Wales coastline these days, and much easier to keep the rib clean

Could you explain how you went about applying this??
As per the instructions on the eBay shop or do you have your own?

Obviously I cleaned the tubes prior to this

Polish from e bay was sat with lid off in some red hot water in a bowl , makes the cream go to a lower viscosity, simply dipped a sponge in it and applied liberally to a section of tube at a time, completed whole boat and left few days for the dye to be absorbed into the material, there after I buffed off with dry rag,
Gave her a god wash and applied rib shops product , I have done this many times allways with great results

The mersey is a lot cleaner these days but even so I think North Wales has much more scope for boating

Ed, impressive results but you must have used a few 50ml jars of leather cleaner / polish to do the whole of the humber destroyer?
