How about letting down all the chambers adjacent to the suspect one (still fully inflated) then seeing which of the deflated ones self - inflates as it were.

Ear pressed against the tube can also help to detect where it is but you have probably tried that one too.

That's unfortunate. Tim Griffin was complimenting a company (can't remember who) who paid his petrol and ferry to take the RIB back for repairs. Maybe you can….
