I here what your saying, the manufacturer has come up trumps but I'm not convinced that naming them is the right thing to do.
It seems several people have identified the boat and they know the company has done the right thing.
If I was a boat builder would I want my name associated with a thread which starts tube deterioration? My thoughts are probably not

That could be a long process as it may be the committee decide they can't do without the boat untill autumn ( the manufacturer is quite happy to do the job then)
I think a thread along the lines of "great backup from company XYZ" would be more appropriate with pictures of nice shiny new tubes

does the manufacturer have a presence here? Perhaps they could post something if they wanted. Something like, "Glad we could be of service and thanks for all the nice words. Yes, we are that awesome "

Tube deterioration opinions?

I don't think they do. I'm closing the thread as I think it has run its course for now. With a bit of luck we'll see the outcome in due course with the manufacturer getting due credit.
