Tube Cleaner

Morning All

I know we've had lots of discusions about tube cleaners etc but i was wondering if anyone new where i can buy Polymarines - Tube Cleaner online from. Am planning on doing some work on the boat and wanted to get all the gear i need before i go down.

The polymarine stuff is ok however Revival is the best. Sean at MGA Rochdale does a mailorder service. 01706 379669. £13.00 a litre. Mention Graeme with the Medline if you call.

But remember what my old mum used to say - "you get what you pay for". The Revival stuff may be expensive but, oh boy it's good. Happy rubbing...

Of all the products I have tried RIB SHINE & POLISH I feel is the best, it does take a bit of work but the end result is excellent, I use it once a year and all you have to do after application is a simpy wash with soapy water. I give it 10 out of 10. Can be purchase from VIking Lifesaving Equipment.........good luck

i agree RIB SHINE is the best stuff ever, gets the tubes looking like new.

We use a great cleaner for the tubes, Sea Power, they clean the tubes at the same time you get a new look of the tubes, it`s really great stuff, i tried the revival but i definetly prefer this one.
I don`t know were to by it in uk but the distributor in uk for this dutch brand is:

Used T-CUT on the tubes of our dive club rib worked a treat.

I just cleaned my tubes with Tesco Cheapo Cream Cleaner (JIF) and the soft part of the double sided pan cleaners and that came up like new.

It wasn't hard work but it made a mess of my clothes.

Cost less than 30p and didn't cause any damage.

Give it a try.

Yes I think we all have used different cleaners over the years but be careful what you use as a lot of cleaners don’t just take the dirt they also take the colour.
I also have used Tesco’s cheapo cream cleaner its a little massy but does a good job.
