I have a Volcano fitted and never had any issues with it seizing up. The chap who makes them in Barnstable is very helpful. Good quality lock IMHO.

Just removed a mcguard lock within seconds using a set of mole-grips and an impact wrench. Good job it was mine to remove!

That's a hint to steer clear of Mcgard then. But in all
Honesty I doubt any of the others would have been any better? What do you think?

Most of the others are not as easily removed without the use of a grinder etc. I've got to be honest and say I was surprised at how easy it came off.

We usually fit either Volcano locks or Yamaha ones but they are both much more expensive. Well worth it IMHO considering the consequenceses of not having one fitted!

Do you sell Volcano or Yamaha ones Peter? Could be worth posting up some prices as most insurers now insist on them I bet there is a market for them here.

No we're very much into the used boats & outboards. We supply new electronics.

You want to use Black Dog Marine if up want to buy one. Discount or Ribnet, quick delivery and excellent service.

Cannot compete with that
