Would there be no liability if the North Welsh police arrived as it was being recovered ?

Trying to rent a 7.5 tonne beavertail....

No, that's the problem, it has no brakes... If it was legal to tow I'd of tow'd it by now...

Arh I see, I thought you meant it was damaged but road legal.

Shipley it is. I guess it to cost £450 or less to have it transported through that site. We had a Rib delivered from Plymouth to Newcastle last week for less than that, towed.

My car broke down on the motorway when I was towing a boat. I told the AA on the phone that there was no way they would fix the car at the roadside as it had snapped a conrod and ejected half the contents of the engine out the side of the crank case on to the carriageway of the M27. They didn't have a tow truck in the with a towbar so they sent me two tow trucks. One to put the car and and one for the boat! Good value for money.

Could be a good way of savig fuel and transporting your boat cheaply if you need to take it a long way!

Had been been a caravan and camping club member they'd have assisted you. Well worth the £40 per year extra - plus you get a magazine each month :nono:

The AA never batted an eyelid when I said it was my boat trailer ! Had to wait until they sourced a flatbed (40 minutes) & they brought it all the way home !

We have a flatbed trailer with electric winch and ramps available for hire. The bed is 7m x 2.5m, but it will carry a bit longer with overhang over the A Frame and out the back.
