RIBase
Given the owners name and the boat name, plus it had the name on the A-frame in stainless I wouldn't put money on 2 weeks. It'd take a while to get that done.

Let's wait for the investigation. I had been informed of a different reason.

Whatever the Events were that Lead to this Truley Sad and Tragic Accident, and especialy in view of the Fact that some of the People involved are still in Hospital.
Would'nt it be better to be Patient and wait until the results of the Official In-Depth Inquirey are Known.. befor we jump to Conclusions, and or, infer things that may well later prove to be completely Wrong?
I feel some GOOD points HAVE been made by Forum users.. but, untill we know the Facts,as they are..or as far as they can be proven..All the Speculation in the World wont realy Help.

Beware of the moral high ground boys, it's a precarious place from which to preach.

Thanks Sue & John

Most stop buttons are also the kill switch, pull it out & put the tang of the kill cord behind the button. Our backup engine has a ziptie on the kill switch, so its push to shut down, it strugglles to do 3 knots on a good day! so safety is not really an issue with it, its for backup use only should the 90 fall off the back.
