Towing Advice To Salcombe

Hi -

Can anyone recommend a route from Exeter to Salcombe towing a 6M RIB?

Is it A38. A3121, A379 through Modbury and Aveton Gifford, then B3197, and A381 into Salcombe?

I like towing on dual carriageways to 1 mile from the launch site normally, but the South Hams is a bit short of dual carriageways!

Any advice?

Jeremy

The easiest route towing to Salcombe would be to come off the A38 at Buckfastleigh, throught to Totnes and follow the signs to Salcombe from there, the whole route is pretty good until you get to the top of town, i've been down there today delivering a boat and it's pretty damn hectic on the slipway. good luck.
