I suspect that your PT 520 has a deeper Vee than the tornado. However Tornado ribs are very very good.

Tornado Viking

I had a Tornado 5.4 Viking with a 90hp Mercury for six years and found it be be a superb Rib excellent polyurethane welded tubes, rugged build quality and a dry ride.

Our dive club one is now 10 years old and looking good. Seems to cope with everything we throw at her.

I love um, my own 5mtr Tornado is now 15yrs old and looks like new, well it is kept inside and has lots of TLC. However, the dive branch boat is a 1992 5,5mtr Tornado with a 2S 115 Yam on and its a bril setup. Quick, towable, usable by 6 divers and its old Yam is perfect and cheap to service by me, without any expensive computers or software.

I think the Viking boats were heavier with no kevlar used but still an excellent craft.
