Tornado Information

I'm back again...!

This time asking if anyone is able to lay their hands on an official specification sheet for the Tornado RIB that I am currently having problems with. Or perhaps has a builder's plate to hand?! Or rather know someone who owns the same boat that might be able to take a 'photo of one etc?

I've had a trawl of Google etc., but haven't had any luck.

Once again, any help is much appreciated!

Have you tried contacting Lawrence Lock at Barnet Marine Centre?

Thanks for your responses.

I had tried Laurence, but he seemed unable to help. The spec page might be handy, though.

The info that I require is essentially what would be found on a builder's plate, i.e. max hp, persons etc. for our 1980s 4.9m

It's a case of grabbing as many umbrellas as possible, and making sure they cover everything.

Morning all,

An 'update' of sorts.

What we need is the maximum hp for the specific boat. We know that the RN used it with a 55hp engine, but have no idea what the max was. This is a problem as we have a 70hp engine at the moment.

Therefore, does anyone know anyone else that has the same 4.9m Tornado that has a builder's plate on that could be photographed? Or perhaps an RN contact that would be able to provide a official document stating the mac engine?

Any help is appreciated, and thank you in advance!
