Yes indeed I have already changed that with my own straps ,I literally took those photos as soon as I got home. Any more ideas on cleaning the tubes so far I've been told TFR ,fairy spray and elbow grease. :-0

Thanks. My last rib was a 5 m tornado with a 80s 50 hp yam 2 stroke my new one iis a 5.5 m osprey with a 2009 60 hp four stroke do you think they would be about the same performance wise top speed etc cheers

yes, would guess so, but would depend on hulls, if the Tornado was a deep V then both should be similar, the 80's 2 stroke has probably seen some action so the '09 4 stroke should be a bit better overall. did you get to try your new Osprey out on the water before buying?

The main thing I've found since owning a rib is getting somewhere to run and test your rib without going to the coast. Hardly anybody will let you onto there water. The closest to me is Rothervalley country park which has got a fantastic expanse of water but you can only go on for one hour in the morning (£35) and at the end of the hour you have to come off immediately because of the sailing boats even though there is only me there. Does anybody else have this issue or know of anywhere local to Doncaster who would accommodate ribs :-(
