Thanks for the link.
I have seen that I must be UK resident to register my boat.
I haven't found solution like Belgium registration for a frenchman.

Is there specific Guernsey registration or it's also the UK registration for theses islands ?

Michel

Here is company who do REGISTRATION IN GUERNSEY
However, they do larger yachts and this is mainly about tax - you need to be able to show due diligence.

Is there a reason you need to register offshore?

There isn't no particular reason.
I think that I will buy a rib in Guernesey and I would like to know if there is interesting to register the boat in the island. If isn't the case, I will register the rib in Belgium like my previous rib.

You will avoid paying VAT if you register it in Guernsey i think but people nornally do it with very expensive boats!!!

Are you buying a Prosport?

They are good boats - in fact a very good hull - they are a bit of a strange company to deal with though!!! Make sure you get a proper contract and delivery times in writing!!!

They don't rip people off or anything - they are honest and build good boats but they need better customer liason!!!
