Interesting...I've only ever driven the verado fly by wire and felt it was easily as good as my opti or yam 4 stroke....

Opti 150 XL is listed at 201kg, on the US site the new 150 4 stroke is listed as "from" 206kg (presumably the shorter shaft version). Still impressive for a 4 stroke, though...

The lightest model available of a 150 Optimax is 195kg where as the four stroke, again for the lightest model available, is 206kg.

After owning all these engines the Optimax feels faster, probably due to the faster acceleration but the 150 four stroke is very quiet, feels more powerful and durable.

Just done 100 hrs on mine, lovely engine. Very smooth and torquey. Seems very well made and it's one of those engines that you feel will always get you out of trouble and not let you down. Fit, forget. I would recommend it.
