Those Cradle Things

What do you call those cradle things that you occassionally see in marinas, where the RIB is held out of the water so avoiding weed build-up?

Great. Thanks guys! They are a bit of a contraption, aren't they?

While I am on the subject, has anyone seen one of those little plastic 'rafts' that one can pull a small rubber tender up on to, again to stop weed build up?

I have only seen them in France.

No, I don't think so. The things I have seen are normally yellow or orange.

Hydrohoist

There's a guy here in Jersey who has one. He had a tornado on it, and it worked a treat. Boat stayed in fantastic condition, no antifoul. But you've got to have the budget for the marina, and expect to pay £5k+ for the hydrohoist.

Well i have one, which had my Melges on, within the next few weeks, will be putting the Solent on it,
Had for the last 4/5 years, excellent bit of kit, less that 2 mins, and she is launched, very little damage done whist afloat,no fouling etc,, but certainly on the ugly side !!!
