i reckon you should get a 2nd engine the same and mount them as a pair, then you would have more than enough performance and you are happy with the engine itself so could be a good way forward

must be a cheaper option than swaping it for a new 300

I was hoping you would take the bait, doing a very boring job at the moment! They aren't bad engines really, and your fuel consumption figures are impressive! 10k is a fair whack for this package though...

I really don't want twins - they make boats stern heavy and they aren't as efficient. 2x the fuel but not 2x the performance!!!
