Another thing to consider is, assuming that the original engines have been removed, the boat probably rides much higher in the water, hence the need for longer legs. Those 25 inchers "might" not have been wet.

In one of the pictures the black antifoul line on the hull looks about level with the bottom cylinders, whats the chances they lowered her in to check the trim then pulled her back out really fast?
Suppose it depends how deep they went? Plugs out and camera into the cylinders to have a look. Lovely pair of engines though.
Someone in the yard will tell the true story for a drink I'll bet !

I agree - I reckon the water level would sit about at the bottom of the cowl at best.
