The rib net meeting was just brill

Well just arrived back last night from Rib net meet and it was brill,

It was great to see all the other boats and faces behind the names ,When is the next one ? as I thought it was just great.

A big thank you to those who made it happen, and I look forward to the next one.

For the next one I would like to nominate a commitee who show a great deal of organisational skills which I unfortunatly dont have.

So I would like to Nominate Charles and Brian and Mike G and Kieth Hart to do all the work for us next time round ,as your commitment to rib net succsess is appreciated and doest go unoticed.

Well done and thanks.

Concur!

I thought it was a great weekend (& so did Laura). Great to see everyone and many thanks to Mike C, Charles and Mike G for giving us rides on their boats & Brian for organising the Invicta. Trust you all had a good day on Sunday, we elected for the lie in option!

Another get together this year would be an excellent idea but lets say towards the end of the summer. Another more central location would be good as well which I guess inevitably leads us to the Solent? (Or the Trent and Mersey canal but the speed limits are a bugger )

Hi All can I just say thanks to everyone who organised the meeting at the weekend. It was very good. Myself and Chris had a really good run down to foyey on the sat morning (sea was moderate which was nice) we were back for the meal in the hotel and then of to the yelm for last orders before having a fantastic ride back at midnight to Plymouth. Due to the long day on sat sat we were a bit tiered and short of fuel money on the sun and only manage to go to a pub up river. But was a fantastic weekend. Thanks

Alternatively do something up norf, drag all you southerners up to the good end of the country, where you don't need to remortgage your house to get a pint, and the weather's more fun!

If you want to do it in the Solent, I can probably offer free storage and launch for four trailers and boats. I expect we could cut a fair deal with Saxon or Drivers Wharf to assist other visitors.

Glad you had a good time, sorry I couldn't be with you.

the sooner you can go firm on dates, then I can book some leave, and try and chase up Humber to build my boat.
