The return of the scrotum thieves

Yep, those with no morals or care for others decided our new dinghy was actually theirs. Another £500 to add to this seasons boating. Until 5 years ago nothing ever got stolen. We are thinking it's just not worth it.

Gutted for you and I know exactly how you feel (twice). Some people have no moral standards and just want an easy life of stealing from others who have worked hard for it. Drives me nuts ....especailly as your £500 will be sold for peanuts down the line...

Worth a read of your insurance to see if 'tenders' are covered automatically on boats over 20ft ?

Pete

Cheers Peter, hadn't thought of that. It was chained and padlocked to a stone wall, obviously bolt croppers did it, but what else can you do.

Cheers all. Re policy amending, for a £500 dinghy, after the excess and premium hike next year, it's probably not worth it.

So far we and our friend have lost 3 toolkits, 2 flare packs, now not stored on board, a dinghy, two big engines and the will to rib. Our friend gave up and we aren't far from it.
