The perfect Ribnetter's 'Man Cave'

What would be in yours (apart from an SR/Ribcraft/Redbay/etc )?

Funny thing is I'm just building such a thing myself.
I've put an insulated lean too about 5x12m onto the side of my Workshop putting the floor down next weekend.
First thing is Heating and Power..and Fridge..and I've got a used Woodburner going in with a Hot Plate.
I should imagine plenty of Fishing gear...work bench..all me boating stuff (surprising how it mounts up!) couple of good Chairs and a Settee...my Large Hacker Radio..all the Prints and bits the Mrs doesn't like, some good Books!..and some good Locks! Inside and out!

You forgot the bar...the fridge would look lost without it... very important piece of kit....

I would like a garage bigger than my house! Right now I have a two car garage that barely holds my tools. All of my woodworking and metal working is done outside. Put my boat in the garage? HA! Even our little Prius C wouldn't fit. A building with walls/curtains/doors segregating clean from dirty work sections would be nice. Plasma dust and sanding/routing dust gets on everything!

Squid Boat, your photo of the strippers, errr I mean ladies looks like it was taken at Ski Beach on the Sacramento Delta?

The perfect Ribnetter's 'Man Cave'

For those of you not retired and short of cash, but REALLY want a shed, remember that a pension fund can buy "commercial" premises!

Use the money in the short term to buy a cheap unit, then sell it again when you need to retire and liquidate the funds. Or rent it out and take the rent.

;-)

Though you'll need a big pension pot for whisper's plans! :-0

Does it not have to operate it commercially to qualify though? ie rent it out rather than lend it to the eventual recipient of the pension?

Also isn't the idea to use the rent to add to the pot your accumulating or pay any borrowings against the building so you have the total proceeds from the sale at the end ?
