The Next Big Thing

It’s raining and I’m bored and ready to launch my latest money making scheme. So guys, what is going to be the next “big thing” in RIBs?

Big Chart Plotters – Done
Toilets in Console – Done
Shock Mitigation – Done
Sub Woofer Stereos - Done
Tapered Tubes - Done
LED Nav Lights – Done
Amphibious RIBs (i.e. Sea Legs) – Done
Through Hull LED Lights – Done (ashamed to say that I quite like that idea)
Wireless Kill Cord - Done

Have I missed anything?
What else could I do to “pimp” my rib?
Has anyone got any bright ideas they want to share?

I have often wondered what would happen if I filled my tubes with Helium to make the RIB lighter – if you hear a loud bang followed by a mushroom cloud you’ll know things didn’t go well!

Any suggestions gratefully received!

You'll need Hydrogen if you want a mushroom cloud.

A remote controlled trailer with ballast so you can keep the car away from the water. Don't have to mess about with rope and the faff of launching and recovering. A bonus would be a quick release button on the remote controlled winch so you don't even have to get knee deep in water to hitch/unhitch the boat

It's an idea I will leave it to cleverer people than me to work out how you get round having electrics/servos etc attached to the trailer where they will probably get wet.

Stealth mode like on James Bond car to make it invisible.Could be used for catching pirates or mooring up on the isle of Wight without having to pay mooring fees for a ten minute toilet stop

Done that, the winch was in the back of the van along with all the electrics. Easy and worked perfect as long as it was a smooth slip. Nightmare on cobbles though.

A berth in a marina.
That way you can "save" money by not purchasing, wheels, funny trailers etc.
And.......and you can just jump on your boat anytime and whizz off. this saves all the heartache and bother of launching.

Mind you.........you would need to anti-foul, pull out a couple of times per year, scrape hull, re-anti-foul............

OK maybe launching is better.
