Thanks for that just trying to get an idea before I head to the humber factory some time soon. Pretty much set on a 5m destroyer with a 90etec
buy sorely tempted by the 5.3 with a 115opti not too many more pennies! I think I'd be well tempted to build a locker like that too, going from a 19 foot fast fisher to a 5m rib will be a shock on the storage front as I do tend to carry lots of rubbish around with me!!

The usual advice with boats is find the biggest you can afford - and then add a bit. My 5.3's great, but another 0.2 would make all the difference. If you're getting it new, the extra built in anchor locker is well worthwhile - mind you it's probably cheaper to make one like psychopic's excellent effort. I have a bench seat aft which is the only decent storage space. Use those round screw top 'kegs' mentioned somewhere on here a while ago, and excellent heavy duty dry bags from 'Highlander'.

i think the destoyer and ocean pro come with bow anchor lockers as standard now, i may be wrong though, the humber website is total crap and doesn't really help much.

I would say that for for the heavy duty drybags from highlander are the best boating related product i have ever purchased, and the orange ones are exactly the colour as my tubes

I'd definately go for a 5.3/5.5 but it wouldn't fit in the garage so would end up paying for storage!
