Searider on ebay

Some people do talk rubbish! If the tubes don't leak £500 is a very good price (have seen them go for over £700) , with a clean up would make a sound basis for a project, take a look at Ollys website to see how he transformed his SR4: http://www.ollysrib.741.com

Here are some Seariders that have been on ebay in the past, check what they have gone for:

Alex

All the ones you listed had engines on? Bill higham will give £500 quid for a non runner. So £250 - £300 quid is about right for ebay in my opinion.

True, but I still think £500 is about right if you can get the trailer thrown in.
Bill Higham, well enough said, they seem to waste your time. Take a look at their current stock, always brings a smile to my face, not sure who would spend £2k on a '70s Chrysler.
If it goes for more than £500 I owe you an apology!!!

regards,

Alex

Good Grief, cant believe the prices of some of the older engines, especially the chrysler ones! I guess some folks must pay those prices or near them as Bill has been in business for 40 years! Makes a new engine even more appealing i must say.

I won the auction last night, £460 with road trailer, I think ive done alright. especially as I can do any work it requires myself. Just need to find a suitable engine.

Sounds like a fair enough deal, I managed to resist, although I was very tempted. Engine wise, I ve got a 2001 Mariner 40HP im considering selling, (tuition fees etc), pm me if your interested.

I've gotta admit mine looked a lot worse than that when I bought it and there was bugger all wrong with it-but I paid £150 for my hull on a snipe trailer (I'm one of those jammy bastards who seems to be in the right place at the right time....)

Got back from sunny West Country (not) ok, pretty pleased with my new RIB as the trailer seems good, the guy threw in a nice cover for it which looks almost brand new apart from one small hole which is easily repaired. The rib itself is just dirty and in need of a clean, Ribshine will bring her back I am sure. I am just toying with taking the the front console off and fitting a centre console.

Really excitng little project for me and I will post some before and after snaps for you all soon.

Cheers

Stephen

cool-look forward to seeing what you do with it.

If you want a good centre console contact leeway composites (he's a trade member on here) or go to his website www.leewaycomposites.co.uk -he supplied mine and is at least 40% cheaper than any other consoles I've seen-mine was about £185ish (without seat) including colouring it avon orange. Bloody good quality too.

Bembridge outboards have his consoles on sale for £450 so it's well worth contacting him direct.
