They are our preferred supplier and we have never had any problems with the quality or delivery.

Do you lay it yourself or have them do it ?

Is it easy to lay and does it stick as well as they say ?

I've heard nothing but good things.

Biff has some to do at the moment.

Ive used a company called Permateek who have a similar product, very pleased with service and cost, definately enhances a Rib not only from a visual perspective, its kind of nicer on the feet as well in that it kind of cushions some of the vibrations.

They have a base on the Hurn Airport Industrial Estate near Ferndown.

Ask for Lee

Is it difficult to lay ?
Is the glue forgiving ?
Does the deck have to be completely flat and smooth ?

If I use it I want to be fully prepared,I can only afford to do it once with no mistakes as it is quite expensive.

Is that so you don't slip with your coffee cup while it's rough in there?

Sorry, yes easy to lay, need to make sure the deck is reasonably flat, glue is just like mastic, clean as you go

Thanks for replies but it seems to be a bit more expensive than I thought it would be.

Troy from tek-dek gave me a rough idea if I were to do my 5m deck myself it could be 1100 plus the dreaded for margined and detailed panels and only 1500 plus if they were to supply and fit.

If ever I consider it again I will be sure to have them do it.

Does seem a bit excessive for a 5m RIB!!
Add to that it really needs to be pro fitted!...does nothing to enhance performance,or handling (just adds weight!) isn't as slip resistant as a lot of finishes, and is something else to maintain and that can cause you problems....makes changes to deck layout/fixings more of a problem...so (unless your absolutely in love with the look!!!?) IMO there are better more useful things to buy for your RIB/spend that type of money on....probably doing the right thing!

I resent that comment Matthew😉

It's a nice touch to a rib lovely to walk on with bare feet, grippy in the wet and makes your boat go faster!

To be fair mine came with it second hand would I pay to retro fit it yeah if I had the cash burning a hole in my pocket

That does sound dear, there are plenty of other places that do the flooring, mine came from someone else and although I can't speak for him, that large section in in my lounge and three other steps came to £650, and he will supply the glue and a helper monkey to lay it with me, ok, I'm trade, even so it's a big difference
